General Education and Learning Support
General Education
The purpose of General Education is to provide students with quality credit course instruction in (1) Written/Oral Communication, (2) Humanities/Fine Arts, (3) Social/Behavioral Sciences, and (4) Math/Natural Sciences and to develop their skills in reading, writing, oral communication and fundamental math, in order that these students may be competent to enter their selected certificate, diploma, or degree program.
Learning Support
The purpose of Learning Support is to provide educational opportunities to individuals that will enable them to achieve performance levels in English, math, and/or reading required to enter and succeed in occupational/technical programs.
