The ENERGE grant is a product of an extraordinary partnership between education, government and industry. The primary goal of the Georgia ENERGE Initiative involves meeting a current and growing demand for skilled trade workers in the energy and energy construction industries. The covered programs provide opportunities in the electric, oil/natural gas/pipeline, nuclear power, transmission/generation energy and energy-related construction industries.
In the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA), we’re surrounded by opportunities. Think nuclear energy production. Think hydropower. Think industrial construction. These are just a few expanding fields that need highly skilled workers now and for years to come.
