Program Description

The Cosmetology Instructor trainee Technical Certificate of Credit provides a course of study for learning the skills needed to teach the theory and practice of skills in cosmetology as required by the Georgia Department of Technical and Adult Education.  Course work includes requirements for becoming an instructor, introduction to teaching theory, methods and aids, practice teaching, and development of evaluation instruments.  High school graduation or GED is required for admission to this program.

Employment Opportunities

Graduates of the Cosmetology Instructor Training TCC may be employed as cosmetology instructors in public or private education and business in Georgia and many other states.
