Program Description

The Criminal Justice Technology Program is a sequence of courses designed to prepare students for a career in public protection, private security, and corrections. Program graduates will be competent in the general areas of communications, mathematics, and human relations. The program of study emphasizes the areas of law enforcement, constitutional and criminal law, criminal justice, corrections, and juvenile justice. High school graduation or GED is required for admission to this program.

Students desiring to be employed in the public protection sector upon graduation must meet the requirements established by Georgia Code 35-8-8.
