Program Description

The Management and Supervisory Development program at Augusta Technical College is a sequence of courses designed to prepare students to work in management or supervision positions in businesses and industries. Students are provided with learning opportunities that introduce, develop, and reinforce academic and occupational knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement. Program graduates who are experienced workers are prepared to perform management and supervisory functions such as employee training, employee evaluation, employee counseling and disciplinary action. Graduates of the program receive a Management and Supervisory Development Associate of Applied Science degree. High school graduation or GED is required for admission to this program.
